Welcome to Wordless Wednesday!
Make your own cooking spray -- without the nasty additives!
One part olive oil to five parts water. Shake before each use! SIMPLE!
I am all about Living Simple & Smart and when I saw this picture on Pinterest it resonated with me. Why, because I use Olive Oil to cook already. I have never thought about adding water to it, but that's another awesome thing you can do to thin out the oil. I also use Grapeseed oil, Almond oil and have even dabbled in Coconut oil to cook in addition to my use on my hair and body. I believe I bought Pam when I moved out on my own, years ago. And I am sure my mother used PAM growing up. This post is not to bash PAM but to promote the use NON-ADDITIVES that you can't pronounce or spell. All of the oils I mentioned above definitely do the job better and healthier!
Again, I got this picture from Pinterest but I plan on visiting http://naturesnurtureblog.com/ for some more great Natural tips!
Your thoughts on the oil?

That's very interesting. I didn't know that you could mix olive oil and water like that to make a good, healthy cooking spray. Thanks for sharing this little trick with us!
ReplyDeleteHmm this is good to know because pam is high and runs out to quickly.

Thanks for the healthy tip!
ReplyDeleteLeave out the water and just put some oil in a squeeze bottle. Oil and water will not mix without another ingredient to help keep them together. Also, the water will just spatter and pop when it hits a hot surface.
ReplyDeleteI had no clue.
